Online learning

Students, ready for online learning?

You are if you:

  • Can devote as much time if not more to an online course as you would a traditional class (Online classes rarely take less time than a traditional course and may, in fact, take more time. The greatest benefit to online learning is the flexibility of not having to be in an actual classroom on a routine basis.)
  • Can perform basic computer operations that enable you to use a computer efficiently and effectively
  • Have access to a computer with an Internet Browser and a word processing program
  • Understand that online courses may require campus visits or proctored exams - consult your online instructor for more details
  • Learn and understand through reading
  • Communicate effectively through writing
  • Are a self-motivated and self-disciplined learner

Complete the Self Evaluation test consisting of twelve yes or no questions to find out if you are a potential online student.
